Convention Chatter

Listening to the speeches of the Republican Convention it is interesting to hear the rational for Bush’s actions some brilliant people.

It certainly is believable if viewed without any skepticism. One thing that I thought while listening to Cheney is a playground scenario. Maybe it is a good thing to teach your children.

If your child is ever beaten up on the playground have him or her take a bat to the head of whoever is the biggest bully of the playground.

You’ll be sure that no one will bother your child anymore.

I guess that is the point of Iraq, you can’t win a war against Bin Laden so if you want to win a war you find the next largest threat, especially one that is easy to win.

This makes a lot of sense actually and as Bush had choreographed the whole mission accomplished thing I think it is what he thought would happen. If the war had really been over as he thought he would have rode a wave a popularity right into re-election.

It is interesting really as a life approach, it is the ultimate way to really not do anything special and seal your place in history.
